CROME Wireless Performance Management
CROME Reporting Applet Page
The "Show Crome" button below will launch an
applet version of CROME for a series of selected data sets.
CROME can report on multiple types of wireless
and wireline components. The components are
organized into a hierarchy of logical levels,
which each "top level" representing a different
system type.
Once the CROME Applet appears on the screen, use the
menu choices in: File / Properties / Scenarios / Run.
These choices will execute various CROME reports on
different types of equipment, demonstrating many CROME
features as well as highlighting how the CROME
interface is consistent and identical even for
different types of wireless and wireline technologies.
You'll notice that under "File / Properties / Scenarios" there are two
menu choices: "Run" and "Config". If you select choices underneath "Run",
the software will automatically run the selected report, popping up
new windows with the report results, and possibly
invoking other analysis tools. If you select choices underneath "Config",
the software will merely reconfigure the CROME main screen to select
the appropriate equipment and report, at which
point you will have to select the "Run" button to invoke the CROME report.
Note that this demonstration is real -- every time you
choose a Scenario, you will be running a real CROME report from
a real CROME database, just as you would in your own network.
Of course, WAN speeds will vary, and when reporting in your own network
you will see faster startup and reporting speeds. Plus, running CROME as
an installed
Application will provide several useful features
unavailable to this
Applet version, due to standard
browser applet security restrictions.
The CROME applet on this web page / demonstration server has been configured to show performance
data for the following system types:
